Summer 2021 is now here, so it’s time to gear up with costumes, sarongs and headgear to face the hottest and most anticipated time of the year. Some of us can’t wait to put on our bikinis and run to the beach; others still feel that slight embarrassment and shy insecurity of those who don’t like to uncover themselves too much at the beach. Whatever group you belong to, know that it is normal and that you are not alone. There is no “costume test” to pass, and the perfect costume is the one in which you feel comfortable. But then, how to choose the swimsuit for 2021?

Types of female costumes

Women’s swimwear is known to be countless. Every year we have to juggle classic bikinis, printed bikinis, one-piece and opaque swimsuits and so on. Below we will look at the main types of swimsuits together to understand how to choose the right swimsuit for each of us, according to our taste and needs.

Classic Bikinis Online

A classic, solid-colored bikini, perhaps with a triangle bra or cups, is a must-have for anyone who feels like getting a little tan in the summer. If you feel comfortable in a bikini and want a simple and versatile solution, you won’t want to miss a black, white, triangle or bandeau bikini. Take a look at these:

Printed and embroidered bikinis

If going to the beach (or pool) is “serious business” for you, I already know that you won’t want to limit yourself to sporting a simple triangle bikini. For the more daring, animalier is always in fashion: leopard, tiger or zebra prints will look great, especially on an already visible tan; the perfect solution to show off mid- or late-season or to take along on long trips. Always remember that if you love swimming, it will be important to have a comfortable, opaque swimsuit in your wardrobe that allows you to swim freely without having to worry about constantly adjusting your cups and briefs!

Livia Montecarlo is a French brand that produces very feminine costumes suitable for all age groups, The high quality of the fabrics makes them resistant to light, salt and chlorine. These are stylish yet comfortable swimsuits, perfect for relaxed swimming in both bikinis and one-piece suits.

How to choose one-piece swimsuit

The one-piece swimsuit, once considered the “safe haven” for the more timid or those who simply prefer to cover their shapes more, has now become a real fashionable item and cannot be missed in the wardrobe of those who love to indulge in beach days and beach vacations. Choosing a one-piece costume should not be overly complicated. We recommend, however, that you always keep in mind the time when you will wear it. If you wish to get a good tan, it might be best to use it at the end of the season, after you have caught the first rays of sun.

If tan, on the other hand, matters little to you, well, you just have to indulge in colors, shapes and ruffles. Here are some examples:

Complete the look with a cover-up

Remember that at the beach you will not spend all your time just on the beach! We therefore recommend that you choose a practical yet stylish cover-up for walks along the shoreline or drinks at the bar. Even a sarong paired with an elegant one-piece swimsuit might be enough to give your look a consistently polished and sophisticated look.

In short, the secret is always the same: to feel comfortable, regardless of one’s shape and how opaque a costume is. Therefore, I will not advise you to choose a costume based on your physique , because we are all different and perfect no matter what our body curves are. Rather, I will tell you to choose the perfect costume that makes you feel good, peaceful and carefree during your well-deserved vacation!
